The board and members of Aannemersfederatie Nederland Bouw en Infra (AFNL) expressed their support for the introduction of the Wet Kwaliteitsborging Bouwen (Building Quality Assurance Act) at a Meeting of Members and preferably in the short term.

The Accreditation Council has approved the scope extension of Bureau Cicero to assess companies for compliance with the SNF hiring standard. This standard is managed by the Stichting Normering Flexwonen (SNF), you can consult the public register on the website of the Stichting Normering Flexwonen. 

SKG-IKOB Certification has achieved accreditation for the new VCA 2017/6.0 scheme that came into force on Oct. 2. This means that it may certify companies based on this scheme and issue VCA* and VCA** certificates.

SKG-IKOB awarded the very first KOMO innovation certificate to Infinity Repair on September 3. It is the crowning achievement for a new, innovative total concept the company developed for the renovation of deteriorated wooden window frames. 

The implementation guideline (URL) 1513-09 for the komo process certificate for the installation of building-related safety devices on sloping roofs is up for review.

The Design and Performance Guideline (URL) 5212-02 for lead roof, wall and gutter structures is available for review.

During Building Holland on April 18, 2018, SKG-IKOB awarded the silver CSC certificate to Betoncentrale Hasselt BV. Gert Molenaar was presented with the certificate from the hands of Harm van Dartel.
