About SKG-IKOB
SKG-IKOB was created by the merger of SKG and IKOB-BKB, two companies with years of expertise in research and certification. With this joining of forces, we have become the Dutch certification body for the construction and real estate sector. We are an innovative leading player in the market with healthy ambitions. You can always count on our personal attention and sincere interest!
Our mission
The strength of SKG-IKOB is that we offer testing, verification and certification for the entire construction and real estate sector under one roof. The value we add to your products, processes and systems is tested assurance.
Our motivation is to sustainably secure the performance and safety of organizations, processes and products for the entire building envelope. So that the market and society can build and rely on it.
This is how we work
Our more than 60 employees are substantively passionate experts who give their best every day. They are happy to help you demonstrate the quality and safety of your products and processes. Our people are expert, innovative and work transparently. We do this from our own office and laboratory, or at your office or project site. Where possible, we work according to the principle of 'new working'. The Dutch Accreditation Council has approved many activities that can be carried out remotely (online).

SKG-IKOB sits at the table of a variety of companies and organizations that contribute to the quality of the built environment. This makes us excellently aware of current affairs and issues, now and in the future. We respond to them daily with ambition and vision.

Because of our expertise and independent position for testing and certification, industry associations also gladly entrust the development and verification of their own labels to us.
