SKG-IKOB was created by the merger of SKG and IKOB-BKB, two companies with years of expertise in research and certification. With this joining of forces, we have become the Dutch certification body for the construction and real estate sector. We are an innovative leading player in the market with healthy ambitions. You can always count on our personal attention and sincere interest!

SKG-IKOB tests and evaluates your designs, products, processes and systems. With a good result, you will receive a report, attestation or certificate from us. It gives our assessment value and makes it useful and reliable. It has meaning because we ourselves are also assessed on our competencies. SKG-IKOB is assessed by the Accreditation Council; we have been designated as a Notified Body (NoBo 0960).

As an accredited certification body, impartiality is of paramount importance to us. The Accreditation Council ensures that this functions properly. We make our own inventory of possible threats to impartiality and keep it up to date. An independence committee evaluates us on this at least annually. 

We manage Assessment Guidelines (BRL) for products and construction-related topics such as quality assurance. The development and monitoring of BRLs and specific quality requirements is the work of experienced experts who have earned their spurs in their industry and field. At SKG-IKOB, they are represented in Boards of Experts.

A strong reduction of CO2 and energy efficient building and renovation; we are jointly responsible for it. SKG-IKOB supports your responsibility for the environment and sustainability by performing measurements and tests and certifying products, systems and processes.
