Independence Commission
As an accredited certification body, impartiality is of paramount importance to us. The Accreditation Council ensures that this functions properly. We make our own inventory of possible threats to impartiality and keep it up to date. An independence committee evaluates us on this at least annually.
Duties of Independence Commission
The Safeguarding Impartiality Committee (CSI) is the independence committee that reviews our inventory of potential threats to impartiality at least once a year. The committee determines whether there were situations in which impartiality was compromised. If so, the CSI also judges how we acted and whether it was in line with the requirements of accreditation.
