Vacancy Management Hallmark accredited
The Council for Accreditation has assessed the Keurmerk Leegstand Beheer (KLB) and on this basis has decided to accredit the set of standards and the system of assessment of KLB. This means that KLB's set of standards and the control of this set of standards by SKW Certification are professional, independent and thorough.
Koos Karssen, as brand new president of KLB is very pleased with the accreditation: "With a hallmark it is of course important that you are independent and that this is also guaranteed. This also allows a hallmark to be truly distinctive."
Part of the accreditation is also the test of how SKW carries out inspections. The Council for Accreditation has tested SKW's working method both in theory and in practice and on that basis has accredited SKW to perform inspections for KLB.
"Clients for vacancy management may have been hesitant in the past about making the seal of approval mandatory, but this doubt has been completely removed by the accreditation," said Koos Karssen.
Accreditation contributes to the further professionalization of vacancy management. The Vacancy Management Hallmark creates clarity for occupants, clients and vacancy managers, making it more pleasant to do business with a certified vacancy manager.
"I appeal to clients and especially to municipalities and corporations to consciously choose certified vacant property managers, the Hallmark provides a solid framework of measures that ensure that the rights and obligations of all parties are clear and adhered to," said Koos Karssen.
