SKG-IKOB Certificatie BV awards CSC Gold to BetonCenter Swinkels
SKG-IKOB awarded CSC Gold to BetonCenter Swinkels on October 8. Swinkels demonstrates with the CSC certificate that their concrete mortar is produced in a sustainable and responsible manner.

Why CSC certification?
The certificate offers the buyer assurance about a sustainable, responsible origin of the raw materials used, an optimal production process and recyclability. For the producer, it is an incentive to continue to innovate and be actively involved in product development. It provides insight into the CO2 reduction a customer can obtain by using the certified products. Furthermore, the certificate helps in improving sustainability throughout the construction chain. Due to its international recognition, the CSC certificate gives an advantage when doing business in the international market. Also in the local market, the CSC certificate gives clients the confidence to get sustainable concrete in their construction work.
Certification track
Many concrete companies affiliated with Concrete House are making processes more sustainable. By capturing these processes in the CSC system, even more ideas for improvements are emerging. Some are implemented immediately, while others appear in policy plans for the near future. The CSC certification process gives a fresh look at (sustainable) business operations. Ton van Beek, technical manager at SKG-IKOB: "At the end of last year, BetonCenter Swinkels started the 1.0 certification process. From CSC a new scheme 2.0 for the certificate holders came mid this year. BetonCenter Swinkels immediately took up the challenge to meet the new ambitions."
