Het College van Deskundigen VvE van SKG‑IKOB heeft de BRL 5016 voor VvE‑beheerders gewijzigd. Deze beoordelingsrichtlijn is volledig herzien om beter aan te sluiten op de dagelijkse praktijk binnen VvE‑beheer, de behoefte aan specialisatie en de verschillen in dienstverlening binnen de sector. De nieuwe opzet is minder gecompliceerd, maar borgt de kwaliteit op alle relevante scopes. Daarnaast is de splitsing in twee delen doorgevoerd om het certificeringstraject duidelijker, efficiënter en goedkoper te maken.

Er is sprake van een overgangstermijn van 3 jaar om de wijzigingen in de geactualiseerde versie van de norm te verwerken in het managementsysteem. Organisaties die een nieuw milieumanagementsysteem opzetten, zullen direct met de vernieuwde norm starten. De wijzigingen zijn beperkt en verduidelijken vooral de al bestaande eisen, maar vragen vooral een bredere, systeem gebaseerde kijk op milieurisico’s en afhankelijkheid.

SKG-IKOB Supports Innovation at the 2026 Smart Circular Innovation Conference

On April 16, 2026, SKG-IKOB will be attending the SlimCirculair Innovation Event at the Basilica in Veenendaal. During this event, innovative companies will present their circular and sustainable solutions to clients and experts from the construction and infrastructure sectors.

The Foundation for Safety Cooperation (SSVV) is introducing VCA version 2026/6.1. Since the introduction of VCA 2017/6.0, there have been many changes in the practice of safe and healthy working. In its role as owner and developer, SSVV has adapted the VCA scheme to reflect these developments, ensuring that the scheme remains relevant, up-to-date, and clear.

SKG-IKOB Certification is aware of the recent reports regarding the use of UF foam (urea-formaldehyde foam) and of the Zembla broadcast.

We endorse the statement issued by VENIN Isolerend Nederland.

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) is currently conducting a supplementary investigation into the use of UF foam as an insulation material. Naturally, we will cooperate fully with this investigation if requested to do so.

First SKG-IKOB Sustainability Passports for Civil Engineering Awarded: A Major Step Toward a Transparent and Future-Proof Infrastructure Sector

Geldermalsen, February 26, 2026 – The civil engineering sector reached an important milestone this week. SKG‑IKOB Certificatie B.V. and Building Changes have officially issued the very first SKG-IKOB Civil Engineering Sustainability Passports. With this new standard, the sustainability performance of companies in the civil engineering sector becomes demonstrable, comparable, and reliable.

Metal roofing and siding require true craftsmanship. The installation of zinc, copper, and lead roof, facade, and gutter systems is specialized work that places high demands on quality, safety, and durability. To demonstrate this quality, there is the BRL 5212 assessment guideline, the KOMO process certificate for the installation of metal roof, facade, and gutter systems.
SKG-IKOB is the independent certification body that assesses and certifies this process.
