Tester Hang- en Sluitwerk (32-40 hours) - Geldermalsen
Are you technically inclined and enjoy taking things apart to see how they work? Then we have a unique opportunity for you! In the laboratory of SKG-IKOB Certification you test hardware - from locks to hinges - on safety, durability and burglar resistance on a daily basis.
You do not have to be a specialist. If you are motivated and like working with technology, we will be happy to teach you the trade!
What will you do?
In our in-house research lab, you will test hardware (locks and hinges) in a variety of ways:
- You perform strength and durability testing
- You do burglary and theft simulations
- You record results and create clear reports
- You ensure that your workstation and testing equipment are in top condition
- You support colleagues and participate in improvement projects
You will have your own product group (hardware) and work closely with fellow testers, inspectors and our technical manager Ton van Beek, your immediate supervisor.
What do we offer you?
- Salary between €2,500 and €3,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours)
- 25 vacation days + 8 ATV days (for full-time employment)
- Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment

What do you bring?
- MBO work and thinking level, with technical training and/or experience
- Physically able to perform test work
- You work accurately, see deviations quickly and think in solutions
- You have a good command of the Dutch language - English or German is a plus
- You enjoy working in a small, professional and driven team
Where will you work?
SKG-IKOB Certification is the independent certification body for the construction and real estate sector in the Netherlands. We offer inspection, testing, research and certification under one roof and have our own fully equipped laboratory. We are part of the SIH Group, a holding company with several construction-related companies and a total of about 120 colleagues.
Your place of employment will be Geldermalsen, where the lab is also located and you will work together with 15 colleagues within the research team.
