Job Description

As an Auditor, you will be part of a close-knit team of colleagues who work daily to coordinate and ensure proper compliance with the EPBD (Energy Performance of Building Directive) regulation. In your role, you will be in frequent contact with companies engaged in the preparation of energy performance calculations and customized advice for residential and/or non-residential buildings. Companies engaged in such activities must comply with the requirements and guidelines established by law for this purpose. These requirements and guidelines are laid down in an assessment guideline (BRL) and in various ISSO publications. Monitoring the correct compliance with the aspects mentioned in these guidelines is an important task in this whole. In your role as an Auditor at SKG IKOB, you visit companies to perform audits and ensure proper compliance with the statutory requirements and guidelines.

What will you do?

In your role as Auditor, you will work closely with the Coordinator, Sector Coordinator, and various (fellow) Auditors and Inspectors. You have an itinerant, responsible and independent position, with a broad and varied range of tasks:
- You carry out independent audits at, SKG-IKOB certified, companies.
- You are a point of contact and inquiry both within and outside our organization regarding the BRL 9500 and current ISSO publications.
- You draw up reports, identify deviations and monitor corrective measures. You communicate about this in a pleasant way with the client and answer any questions where necessary.
- You ensure that you are fully up to date with all products and content related to the BRL 9500 and the current ISSO publications, and closely follow the latest developments in the market.
- You maintain good contact with your colleagues and the companies in your network. You show yourself to be a real expert in your field.

Where will you work?

SKG-IKOB group consists of four companies: SKG-IKOB Certification BV, Keurhuis Nederland BV, BRIS BV and Keuringshuis BV. With our services such as certification, research and inspection, SKG-IKOB is a household name in the building industry. As an Auditor you will be working for SKG-IKOB Certification. SKG-IKOB Certification is one of the national certification bodies in our sector. The main office is in Geldermalsen, the working area covers all of the Netherlands (and even beyond).

Who are we looking for?

- You have an HBO working and thinking level, preferably with a construction and/or installation engineering background.
- To do your job well, it is important to us that you have EP certification. Don't have this yet? Then we will give you the opportunity to obtain this certificate.
- To be able to perform audits, mastery of relevant audit techniques is a must. If you do not yet have these qualifications, you will need to take an audit training course.
- You have an affinity with the construction and/or installation sector, particularly in the field of energy saving.
- Working for a certification body means that we keep a very close eye on applicable laws and regulations. Following the correct (internal) procedures is therefore also an important basis for us to work from. For you this also means that you are very punctual and like to work well (also administratively).
- You are motivated to take on this challenge and have a proactive attitude to work.
- You are communicatively strong and customer friendly. In contact with our customers you know how to express yourself well both verbally and in writing.
