Specifically for the regulations and certifications concerning the thermal post-insulation of buildings, we are looking for a skilled coordinator who would like to join our team.

SKG-IKOB Certification is part of the SIH Group holding structure. The SIH Group is a construction-related institute which, in addition to the activities of SKG-IKOB Certification, offers several services for the construction industry, from separate private companies. For example, our total portfolio includes the provision of testing and inspection services, the development and management of various IT applications (in which we make use of a unique proprietary platform, among other things), and we support organizations in transition processes.
Our total team currently consists of approximately 120 colleagues, with everyone working from his or her own expertise. Our head office is located in Geldermalsen, from where a large part of our colleagues work. This will also serve as your permanent base for you.
As coordinator of the regulations and certifications concerning thermal post-insulation of buildings, you will be part of an experienced team of specialists. You will report directly to the sector coordinator: René Hagenouw.
Job Description
As coordinator, you are the specialist in the field of thermal post-insulation of buildings, and all the regulations related to it. You are a subject matter expert and have a coordinating role with respect to the daily course of events concerning the certification schemes and projects assigned to you. You monitor the progress of work and ensure compliance with applicable standards and agreements. You are responsible for the preparation, execution and follow-up of inspection and certification processes. You do this together with various internal and external specialists from the field who perform the inspections at our customers. All this makes for a nice alternation between office, commerce, and practice!
Your main duties as Coordinator, post-insulation of buildings, include:
- You will be the point of contact and question both inside and outside our organization when it comes to the post-insulation of buildings, and the related regulations.
- You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, including planning and directing inspectors (both internal and external), focused on compliance with applicable assessment guidelines and laws/regulations.
- You keep a feel for the market by being involved in inspection/ and research work.
- You will be responsible for keeping products and content up-to-date regarding the thermal insulation of existing cavity walls.
- You keep a close eye on trends and developments in the market and know how to properly translate this into new initiatives.
- You will be responsible for recording and reviewing inspection and investigation reports, identifying discrepancies and monitoring corrective actions.
- You will be responsible for a structural turnover, which will be reassessed annually.
- You will maintain good contacts in your network, and in time, and after proven ability, will also take a seat on Technical Committees and the Board of Experts on Post-insulation.

Who are we looking for?
- You have HBO working/thinking level, preferably with the educational background Construction Engineering.
- You have an affinity with laws/regulations, especially in the field of thermal insulation. You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Working for a certification body means that we keep a very close eye on applicable laws and regulations. Following the correct (internal) procedures is therefore an important basis on which we work. For you this also means that you are very punctual and like to have your work (also administratively) in good order.
- You have a proactive attitude and are analytically strong.
- You love a challenge and know how to effortlessly turn problems into ideas and solutions.
- You are communicatively strong, you have a good ability to interact at different levels and you enjoy building and maintaining your own network.
