Coordinator of Metal Windows, Doors, Facades and Curtain Walls (32-40 hours)
SKG-IKOB Certification is the Dutch certification body for construction and real estate.

Specifically for our product group Metal windows, doors and facade industry, we are looking for a skilled Coordinator who would like to join our team.

SKG-IKOB Certification is part of the SIH Group holding structure. The SIH Group is a construction-related institute which, in addition to the activities of SKG-IKOB Certification, offers several services for the construction industry, from separate private companies. For example, our total portfolio includes the provision of testing and inspection services, the development and management of various IT applications (in which we make use of a unique proprietary platform, among other things), and we support organizations in transition processes.
Our total team currently consists of approximately 120 colleagues, with everyone working from his or her own expertise. Our head office is located in Geldermalsen, from where a large part of our colleagues work. This will also serve as your permanent base for you.
As Coordinator of the product group metal windows, doors, facades and curtain walls you are part of our experienced team of specialists in the field of metal facades. You will report directly to your sector coordinator: Marcel Peters.
Job Description
You are the specialist in the field of certification schemes within your product group. You are a subject matter expert and have a coordinating role with regard to the daily course of events concerning the certification schemes and projects within your product group. You monitor the progress of work and ensure compliance with applicable standards and agreements.
You are responsible for the preparation, execution and aftercare of inspections, testing and certification processes. You do this together with various internal and external specialists from the field who perform the inspections and tests at our customers.
All this makes for a nice mix of office, commerce, technology and practice!
Your main duties as a Coordinator of Metal Windows, Doors, Facades and Curtains consist of:
- You are the first point of contact for the projects and certification schemes entrusted to your care.
- You will take care of the coordination of tests (such as a test for air and water tightness), and internal coordination on their execution with our own
SKG-IKOB laboratory. - You will be responsible for coordinating and reviewing certification examinations of manufacturers of escape doors, (fire-resistant) windows and doors, glass, etc.
- You will ensure the acquisition of new testing and certification assignments and maintain good contacts with our customers.
To achieve all this, you will be in regular contact with (facade construction) companies, including on the results and progress of said testing and certification processes.

- A salary tailored to your knowledge and experience, between €4,500- and €5,500- gross per month, based on 40 hours per week.
- 25 vacation days + 8 ATV days (based on full time employment) and a good pension plan.

Who are we looking for?
You have architectural understanding and you have knowledge and experience in working with metal windows, doors, facades and curtain walls. You like to work in a structured way, are analytical and have good social and communication skills. You have an independent and impartial position, and acting with integrity is very important to you. You are able to operate on a tactical level and enjoy being in contact with many different parties.
In addition:
- Do you have a completed Construction or Mechanical Engineering degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience at at least college level.
- Have work experience in the construction or supply industry, preferably in the windows, doors and facade industry.
- Do you have knowledge of the BBL (Building Code) and the use of NEN and EN standards? If so, this is certainly a plus.
- Have a good command of the Dutch, and preferably also English and German languages, both verbally and in writing.
