Are you technically savvy, keen on details and energized by varied on-site work? Then this is your chance to make a difference as a Building Inspector at SKG-IKOB - the certification body for the construction and real estate sector.
What will you do?
You will inspect construction sites on a daily basis where insulation work is being carried out by certified companies. You test whether these activities meet established guidelines, as laid down in assessment guidelines (BRLs). You assess deviations, report findings and liaise with clients and colleagues.
Your main duties:
- Independently perform inspections on insulation projects
- Check for compliance with building regulations and certification requirements
- Report findings and review corrective actions
- Keeping abreast of current laws and regulations
- Maintain contacts with clients and colleagues within your field of expertise

What do you bring?
- MBO work and thinking level, preferably a completed degree in Construction Engineering
- Relevant experience in the construction industry (e.g. residential or commercial)
- Accuracy and administrative diligence
- An independent, proactive work ethic
- Strong communication skills - oral and written

With 120 colleagues and over 50 years of experience, we test, certify and inspect products, processes and systems in the construction industry. We are part of the SIH group and are developing rapidly in the field of sustainability and energy issues.
Your place of employment is our office in Geldermalsen, but you will largely work on location or from home.
