SKG-IKOB accredited for certification of plastic profiles
SKG-IKOB Certification may from now on issue product certificates for plastic profiles under accreditation. The Accreditation Council has granted SKG-IKOB accreditation for certification on BRL 0702 for plastic profiles for the production of windows and doors.
This allows manufacturers and extrusion plants to easily demonstrate that the profiles are suitable for producing high-quality plastic windows and doors.
Within the plastic facade elements industry, SKG-IKOB has been a major certification body in the field of production and assembly of plastic facade elements since its establishment in 1977. By expanding the scope of certification to include plastic profiles, SKG-IKOB serves the entire plastic façade elements industry and thus contributes to integral quality assurance.
In the summer of 2015, SKG-IKOB issued its first product certificate to GEALAN Fenster-Systeme GmbH. Following this, the investigation to obtain accreditation began. The Accreditation Council recently concluded its thorough investigation with positive results.
