WoonKeurad advisor helps live at home longer
We are getting older and staying longer in our own homes, with or without tailored care. Many homes are not suitable for this and need to be adapted. The WoonKeuradviseur, an initiative of WoonKeur and SKW Certificatie, is the right person to guide this in the right direction.
You become a WoonKeuradviseur by taking a course with exam and periodic refresher days through SKW Certification. It is not a full-time job, but an additional role that, for example, a contractor, real estate agent, municipal official or employee of a housing corporation fulfills in addition to the regular work. During a comprehensive examination, the consultant assesses whether the ground-level home, apartment or even the entire residential building is sufficiently passable and thus safe for people with one or more functional limitations.
