Presentation of ETA to ICF Moulding at Trade Fair Energy
On Oct. 4, 2016, Olaf van Panhuys, director of SKG-IKOB Certification (pictured right) presented Mr. Rob Oude Elferink (pictured center) and Mr. Dennis de Vries (pictured left) of ICF Moulding of Emmeloord with an ETA at the Energy Trade Fair in Den Bosch.
The ETA is the basis for the CE for the Passive Building Block. With CE marking, it is regulated for the European Union that the product properties as reported in the declaration of performance are legally defined. This gives buyers confidence that the product performance matches the values declared by ICF Moulding.
The Passive Building Block combines the heat-insulating property of the EPS (Neopor®) with the function of concrete formwork. This creates a good conditional environment for the curing of the concrete after concrete pouring, eliminates the need for de-boxing after concrete pouring, and achieves high thermal resistance for the exterior wall.
