SKG-IKOB conducts first test in accordance with NEN-EN 1300
The European standard NEN-EN 1300 plays a key role in the certification of security locks for safes. SKG-IKOB recently achieved a first: the first Grade B test under this standard.
What is NEN-EN 1300?
This standard sets requirements for reliability and resistance to break-ins through the manipulation of high-security locks (HSL). Locks for safes are classified into classes (A, B, C, D) based on their security level. Both mechanical and electronic locks are covered by this standard.
A First for Steinbach & Vollmann
Steinbach & Vollmann is the first company to have conducted a Grade B test through SKG-IKOB.
What does SKG-IKOB do?
We conduct these tests and, if the results are positive, prepare a report. If desired, a quality certificate or“Approval of Conformity”can be issued based on this report.
