Non-loadbearing interior walls; the options for attestation and certification
The attestation and certification of non-load-bearing inner walls has been part of SKG-IKOB's range of services for many years. The guideline used for this is BRL 1003.
The products to be attested and certified under this BRL relate mostly to interior walls constructed with gypsum blocks, aerated concrete blocks or interior wall systems composed of profiles and (gypsum) boards.
SKG-IKOB recently expanded its range of services with the publication of brl 7500. Following the abandonment of recognition on BRL 1003, it was decided in consultation with the market to develop BRL 7500 in order to continue to serve the market with recognized quality declarations for non-load bearing interior walls. Recently, the first recognized BB Connection Document based on BRL 7500 was issued to Siniat BV.
