Further information on Safety Culture Ladder requirements.

In addition to and in nuance to our earlier post, we would like to give you some further information regarding the requirements of the Safety Culture Ladder (SCL). If you would like further information, please check here to see if the Safety Culture Ladder may be applicable to your company.

 

Who does ViA apply to?

This applies to you if you can answer ''yes'' to all the questions below:

  • Are you, your principals or lead principals signatories to the Construction Governance Code (in fact, ViA applies across the entire principal line)?
  • Does your company have 5 or more employees?
  • Does the contract value amount to at least €100,000?

Clients themselves can also voluntarily qualify under ViA. In the Handreiking Veiligheid in Aanbestedingen (Guide to Safety in Tendering) you will find the scheme 'How to meet the requirements from ViA' in Appendix 3.
