Launch of BRL Construction Projects with Sustainable Concrete
As of May 1, the new BRL Building Projects with Sustainable Concrete was launched. It gives the opportunity to make the sustainable performance of concrete measurable and test environmental ambitions in construction practice.
SKG-IKOB developed this BRL together with Netwerk Betonketen.
The BRL gives the client the tools to tender sustainably in relation to concrete. It creates uniformity and unambiguity and can combine the forces of specifier and performer to achieve a sustainable concrete project. It is a performance tool specifically focused on concrete with which the contractor in combination with his suppliers can distinguish themselves in an innovative way, especially when EMVI criteria are set.
