Entirely updated WoonKeur handbook
The completely updated Handbook WoonKeur 2015 has been published. In addition to the requirements for WoonKeur New Construction, the new handbook now also includes the requirements for Woonkeur Existing homes. WoonKeur sets requirements for the user safety, accessibility and future-proofing of homes and residential buildings.
The handbook presents requirements relevant to the architect and requirements relevant to executing parties in separate modules. The why of each requirement is explained in the book and the book features many explanatory drawings. WoonKeur has been developed in collaboration with consumer organizations (Elderly associations, VACpunt Wonen) and umbrella organizations such as Bouwend Nederland and Aedes, among others.
The WoonKeur Handbook can be ordered from the SKG-IKOB Certification website, www.skgikob.nl.
Soon there will also be an option to order individual modules. There are six different modules that are expected to be available as digital versions by Oct. 1.
