Be certified for participation in the Building Quality Assurance Act! Get certified by SKG-IKOB!
On January 1, 2024, the WKB will go into effect, also known as the Quality Assurance Act for short. This law moves the assessment of the building requirements of a structure from the municipality to an independent party, the so-called quality assurance company.
To work as an approved quality assurance professional, it is necessary to be certified. For this, the quality assurance professional must also use a recognized instrument, such as the KOMO Instrument for Quality Assurance (KIK). The brl 5019 Quality Assurance for Building certificate from SKG-IKOB allows individuals and companies to register as an approved quality assurance contractor.
If you are certified on the basis of the BRL 5019 (for one or more scopes) you can therefore participate in the WKB system. Approved instrument provider KIK (Komo Instrument for Quality Assurance) will accept a certificate from SKG-IKOB on the basis of the BRL 5019.
