First professional mineral wool examinations conducted by SKG-IKOB
On September 23, the first professional exams for processing mineral wool as cavity wall insulation were held. The examining SKG-IKOB Certification had the employees of Insulation company Pluimers visit Geldermalsen for this purpose. The exams are part of the requirements of the KOMO certification for the application of mineral wool.
Pre-examination training was provided by Knauf Insulation.
Examinations are intended to ensure the quality of craftsmanship. For several years, training and exams have already existed for processing PUR foam under floors. Due to its success, this has now been extended to the application of mineral wool in cavity walls.
Professionals who have passed receive a badge. On the work site, they can thus easily demonstrate that they have the right knowledge and are qualified. This is checked during the control inspections of the SKG-IKOB KOMO process certificate on the building site.
SKG-IKOB makes quality in construction recognizable. For more information, please contact René Hagenouw of SKG-IKOB at
