A successful seminar on Post-insulation
The post-insulation seminar organized in cooperation with Duurzaam Gebouwd is now behind us. We can look back on a successful afternoon with an interesting mix of six speakers.
The featured speakers were: Ellen van Acht, director Kuub Center for Private Construction and Sustainable Construction Woman 2014, Wietse Walinga, director of Duurzaam Gebouwd, Ariëtte Dommering, Manager of Research at Milieu Centraal, Mariëtte Willems, Technical Product Manager at Knauf Insulation, Ernst Vuyk, Advisor theme group NRP Save the Climate and Remco Kruit, Manager of Process Certification Executive Construction SKG-IKOB Certification.
An important thread through the afternoon was "Trust" based on quality assurance and its supervision in the form of certification and accreditation. With the vote on whether accreditation adds value to the quality of supervision by certification bodies, the verdict of the participants was almost unanimous: "that added value is there and must be maintained."
A second signal was also clear: "Post-insulation companies: ensure transparency towards your customer. No technical stories, but clear proposals that a private individual can use. And make sure you can demonstrate the quality of your work.
The presentations ended with a tour of our laboratory where the participants could experience various tests. For many a new world opened up, so very instructive. The day ended with snacks and drinks between the various stands of producers and other interest groups.
