Certificate One and a Half Meter Office secures new work protocol
Move freely in 100% of the space in use, with at least one and a half meters around you. If it succeeds, an organization can apply for the new independent certificate One and a Half Meter Office. CFP Green Buildings and SKG-IKOB developed a recognition scheme for organizations that have arranged all workplaces and traffic areas taking into account 1.5 meters distance.
The certificate demonstrates that offices are fully adapted to the new rules and protects colleagues and visitors. The two companies developed this new accreditation guideline in close cooperation in just 1.5 weeks.
The Anderhalve Meter Kantoor recognition scheme is open to all parties in the Netherlands, so multiple organizations can be recognized as certifiers. Offices can be certified by recognized organizations such as CFP Green Buildings. SKG-IKOB guarantees diligence and independence. "Through this cooperation, we have arrived at a reliable and independent certification that is accessible to everyone. This is of great importance so that the economy can start up safely as soon as possible," said CFP Green Buildings director Bram Adema. SKG-IKOB director Bastiaan Benz adds, "The advantage of our joint initiative is that we were able to develop a fully-fledged scheme very quickly. That is special and also marks our mutual intention to concretely support organizations in the new business reality."
Those with a positive evaluation receive the certificate of recognition. From then on, SKG-IKOB performs all necessary work for its maintenance. The recognized company reports every building that has been assessed and meets the one and a half meter requirement. With spot checks, SKG-IKOB checks in accordance with the requirements in the recognition guideline. A facade sign is the physical proof of approval for each registered office building.
App tests one and a half meter requirement
Companies that want to check for compliance with the one-and-a-half-meter requirement can get started with the app developed by CFP. Companies can inventory workplaces to determine what measures are needed to comply with the new measures. They can also review measures previously taken. Then they can engage the approved company to obtain the certificate.
