12th World Accreditation Day 2019

Traditionally, the IAF (International Accreditation Forum) and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) have developed a theme for the annual WAD in which accreditation plays a central role. The IAF and ILAC both have a harmonizing and coordinating role regarding the mutual recognition of accreditation bodies.

This year's theme is "Accreditation: Adding value to the supply chain. With goods coming from all over the world, supply chains are considerably more complex. Accreditation therefore plays an important role in supporting confidence in the quality and safety of products and services.
